Eastview staged a furious rally Friday night at Apple Valley high school. Down 20 with 4 minutes to play, the Lightning cranked up the defensive pressure and added some hot shooting from behind the arc to pull within 4, 55-51 with 1 minute to play.

Eastview then had 3 possessions to cut into the lead even more, but failed to get the last baskets they needed to tie the game and ultimately fell 57-51.

Raevon Davis led all scorers with a game-high 27 points and 15 rebounds. The group of Davis, David Fuse, Julius Henry, Eli Thomas and Venkat Valluri played incredible defense down the stretch, forcing 12 turnovers in the last 4 minutes.
