The Eastview Boys 9A team got a great team victory Thursday night against Bloomington Kennedy 70 - 35.  The Lighting lead 44-23 at half, played a strong defensive second half, only giving up 12 points.  Eastview dominated on the glass, out rebounding the Eagles 37-12.  Jordan Johnston had a double-double with 11 points, 10 rebounds.  Tyler Worm filled the stat sheet with 10 points, 6 boards, 4 deflections, 5 steals and 5 assists. Kaleb Rosenberg came off the bench to contribute 12 points amd 7 rebounds. Brady Miller lead all scorers with 23, and chipped in 4 rebounds and 3 assists.  Derek Larson controled the tempo off the game with 4 assists and 3 steals. Devon Hannah added 7 points and 3 assists.  The Lightning finish the season next week on the road at Lakeville South on Tuesday and Bloomington Kennedy on Friday.  Go Lightning!

The 9A Boys Basketball team lost 48 - 41 Thursday night to the Eagan Wildcats.  The Lightning played with determination and reseliance, but could not hang on for the win.  Missed layups and turnovers were the difference in the game.  The Lightning had 20 turnovers to 11 for the Wildcats.  Eastview missed out on 16 points with missed layups.  Filling the stat sheets were:  Derek Larson with 13 points, 2 hustle points, 3 steals, 3 assists; Brady Miller with 7 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists; Jordan Johnston with 9 points, 4 hustle points; Devon Hannah with 6 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assits; Darren Misiak with 3 rebounds; Tyler Worm with 3 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 hustle points.  The Lightning are on the road for the next Tuesday at Burnsville, Go Lightning!
