Ibrahim with 20 points or more for 5th Straight Game

The sophomore team held off a late Burnsville rally to win for the fifth time in their first six games. Essam Ibrahim topped the 20 point mark for the 5th straight game and finished with a game high 20. Will Barry and Mikey Brennan each pitched in 9, Jackson Bires added 7 and guards Ben Neubert and Nick Manders had 6 a piece.

Eastview got off to a great start, racing to a 15 point lead at the half sparked by the bench play of Sam Brill, Porter Awad, Brennan, Will Schwartz and DeShawyn Henry. They triggered a 10-0 run to help the Lightning into a double digit lead.

In the second half the lead ballooned to 20 with nine minutes to play before Burnsville rallied and cut the lead to 4. That would be as close as they would get as Bires and Ibrahim sealed the game at the foul line.
