For the first time in their careers, the sophomores came out on top vs. their cross-town rival Eagan, 59-46. Essam Ibrahim topped the 20 point mark for the fourth straight game and finished with a game-high 21 pts. Nick Manders pitched in 15 points, Ben Neubert had 12 points and dished out 7 assists and Jackson Bires added 12 points and 8 rebounds.
Eastview controlled the game from the opening tip and only trailed for a little over a minute the entire game.
The Lightning moved to 4-1 on the season and are next in action Friday vs. Burnsville.
