Agressive defense propelled the Lightning to a win and 3-0 start

Eastview opened the game on a 14-0 run and never looked back as it defeated North St. Paul 66-44 on Tuesday night. Brady Miller led all scorers with a season-high 22 points, including a 4-point play. Jordan Johnston and Max Bolger each chipped in 10 points.

Eastview's defense was the difference maker in the game as their full-court pressure they applied to the Polars, early and often propelled the Lightning to many easy baskets and fast breaks.

Next up for the Lightning is Eden Prairie at home Thursday. This will be the toughest test of the season against one of the state's deepest programs. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:15 in the main gym.
