Eastview opened up the home schedule in dominating fashion with a 60-30 win over the visiting Hastings Raiders. The Lightning used a 15-0 run late in the first half to push their lead to 20 points at halftime and never looked back.

Freshman Max Bolger led a balanced offensive attack with 16 points. Brady Miller continued his fast start with 14. All ten players scored for the Lightning as they moved to 2-0 on the season.
