The JV Boys Basketball team won the regular season finale at Jefferson 62-56 on Friday to finish with an overall record of 16-8. The Lightning won their final 10 of 12 games to cap a succesful 2013-14 campaign. The Lightning took control of the game early and kept the Jaguars at an arm's length with tough defense and timely scoring offense. The Lightning offense took care of the ball and made free throws in the closing minutes to grind out the victory. Martin Mitchell led the Lightning with 17 points, Nick Spann with 10 points, Connor Stevens with 9 points, James Kirksey with 8 points, and Sean Ryan with 7 points.
